Meet Jakob Benelli

Jakob Benelli, a financial professional from Overland Park, Kansas, is passionate about helping clients navigate their financial futures. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2023 with a degree in Finance and a minor in Computer Science, giving him a strong foundation in both financial principles and the technical skills needed in today’s data-driven world.

During his time at K-State, Jakob was actively involved in Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, where he served as the Health and Wellness Chair, promoting well-being among his peers and building connections that continue to enrich his career. He began his professional journey at American Century Investments as an Investment Representative, where he assisted clients with inquiries, executed trades, and ensured the integrity of transactions as part of the Risk and Fraud team.

Now serving as an Investment Associate at The Retirement Planning Group, Jakob is focused on trading a wide range of securities and providing tailored financial solutions. He’s committed to helping clients achieve their retirement goals through thorough analysis and building meaningful relationships.

Outside of work, Jakob is an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoys attending games. He’s also dedicated to personal fitness, regularly weightlifting to stay active. Travel is another passion, with Hawaii as a favorite destination and Italy next on his list. Family is central to Jakob’s life, and he maintains a close bond with his parents and brother, who is also set to graduate from K-State soon.
