Meet Janet Jackson

Janet began her career as a counselor at both day and sleepover camps, but soon transitioned to working as a bank teller, where she discovered her interest in financial services. A conversation with a friend who was an investment advisor inspired her to become a Sales Assistant, where she quickly learned about stocks, investing, and client relationships.

Her dedication and skills led her to a role as Operations Manager, where she mastered various office positions before being tasked with opening a regional office in Seattle. Afterward, she became the Regional Compliance Officer, overseeing branch audits and training new managers.

At The Retirement Planning Group, Janet is passionate about providing excellent service to clients who trust the firm with their assets.

Outside of work, Janet has spent over 17 years volunteering with Special Olympics and supporting families at the Ronald McDonald House. She is also a member of The Tournament of Roses, helping to organize the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl. In her spare time, she promotes animal adoptions, fosters kittens, and enjoys reading and traveling. Janet currently lives in Pasadena with her two cats, Lucy and Bear.
